- Susan Pond Wojtasik '57 [Ed. note, George's widow] of New York City is the editor of a book of oral histories of lay members and clergy of St. Luke in the Fields, a well-known church established in New York City in 1820.

- George A. Wojtasik '56 of Old Town, ME, died April 30. He was a retired theatrical director/producer. In New York City, where he moved in 1960, he served as director and production stage manager in several venues. In 1967, he became managing director of Equity Library Theatre where he produced 196 plays and musicals over 22 years. He received the Show Business Special Award in 1970, Outer Critics' Circle Award in 1972, Special Theatre World Award in 1975, and a Special Tony Award in 1977. In 1991 he became producing director of the Grand Auditorium in Ellsworth, ME, where he continued until he retired in 1997. Survivors include his former wife, Susan Pond Brady Wojtasik '57, a son, Nicholas P. Wojtasik '92, and a daughter.
