- Arthur Lawrence Falk '41 of Mayville, WI died Dec. 14 (2007). He was born April 23, 1915, and graduated from Mayville High School and Ripon College, where he studied biology.In 1943, he enlisted in the US Navy and served in the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific for 22 months during World War II. He served as a naval motor machinist aboard the USS Mormacport. He was employed for 27 ears with H.A. Mueller and Sons of Mayville and with the US Postal Service for 12 years, retiring in 1982. He was a lifetime member of the Mayville Gun Club, a member o the Beaver Dam Pigeon and Bantam Club, the Mayville American Legion Post 69, and St. Mary Catholic Church of Mayville. He was an ardent outdoorsman and spent many years training dogs, hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and taking rides round the Horicon Marsh. Survivors include one son and two daughters.
