From the Winter 2008 Ripon College Magazine Obituaries section:

Frederick A. Wilmanns '44 of Mequon, WI, died Dec. 12 (2007). At Ripon he was a member of Theta Sigma Tau. He was a member of the Torpedo Squadron VT-1 and flew torpedo bombers off of USS York Town [sic] CV-10 and was a lieutenant, junior grade. He worked as an associate at R.J. Harrigan Co., Inc. Survivors include two sons and four daughters.
